I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, unfortunately in 2017 it had spread to my liver. Treatment of resection in 2017 but yet again it had spread to further places in the liver in early 2018. I have undergone several treatments, each one offering their challenges.  Currently I'm on treatment to shrink numerous tumours in my liver. 

I try and live a normal life as possible and recently Blythe House have helped me through some of the most difficult times of my life.  Blythe House is a safe environment to go express yourself in any way you feel. I look forward to every Wednesday and have made many new friends.

Blythe House Hospicecare is a purpose built day care hospice located in Chapel-en-le-Frith in the heart of the Peak District. The hospice is unique in that it provides the only specialist palliative care day care service in the area for people affected by cancer and other life limiting illnesses, their carers and families. It' Hospice at Home services enables patients with advanced illness to be cared for at home, and to die at home if that is their preference.
