Story

In 2020 to celebrate 50 years on this planet, my birthday wish was to give to others. My plan was to raise £5,000 by running Five Marathons well, covid disrupted everyone’s life and the celebrations was delayed

Roll forward to 02 October 2022, and the London Marathon. This was the day my challenge began, with a successful finish

06 November 2022 has seen me successfully complete the New York City Marathon ( and the Dash to the Line 5k 06/11/23)

My next Challenge is The Dopey Challenge in Florida in January 2023  :- 4 Days, 4 races, 48.6 miles  These consist of a 5K, 10k, Half Marathon 13.1 miles and the Walt Disney Word Marathon  26.2 miles.

April 2024 will see me completing the Brighton Marathon

The Grande afínale - I signed up for the Niagara Falls Ultra 50k in June  2023

The Genies Wish is a charity close to my heart whose founders have done so much over the years to enhance people’s lives. Please support this amazing charity from the comfort of your home whilst I do all the hard work 😉😁

The Genie’s Wish is a UK newly registered charity whose mission is to enhance the lives of people aged 0-40years, living in England and Wales, who are suffering from a critical or terminal illness or living with a life-limiting medical condition. Our purpose is to bring respite and joy into the lives of our beneficiaries and their families, by providing them with a life-changing wish, experience, or ongoing opportunity. We also provide wish experiences, bespoke events and activities for young carers, aged 5-16, in recognition of the bravery, kindness and selflessness they display daily by caring for a family member.
