When Petra was just 4 years old she contracted Pneumonia and had to be admitted onto the Childrens ward at The Royal Preston Hospital.The infection left her with  on going respiratory problems for which she is still being treated for,Petra has had to go through many of tests,Xrays,consultant check ups,and a small operation etc etc...  and unfortunately contracting pneumonia a further 2 times.Without the care, treatment,dedication,kindness and friendly smiles of the Childrens ward and outpatients, as parents we really don't know what we would have done they have certainly made her stay less scary.Doctors and nurses are amazing.Petra is planning to walk and cycle during the week of  18th-24th October 2021in support of The Childrens Appeal Rainbow Run.Please help her raise vital funds for this amazing appeal.The funds will go towards making a raft of improvements to The RPH Childrens ward and Paediatric Outpatients Department.
