Story
Save the Rhino International’s vision is for all five rhino species to thrive in the wild for future generations. They collaborate with partners to support endangered rhinos in Africa and Asia.
I am currently living and working in North Luangwa National Park with Frankfurt Zoological Society, one of the key conservation areas that Save the Rhino supports.
Save The Rhino and the FZS - North Luangwa Conservation Project are not only saving the lives of endangered species but also creating hundreds of jobs and vocational training for the local communities.
One of the young rhinos that lives in the park, hears the school children arrive to learn about conservation and protection and comes over to make the story real - he loves the noise from the kids and they love him.

To raise funds for this amazing cause, I am climbing Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain (5,895m) So, please sponsor me!
I will set off on the 24th December (with a group of unknown individuals) and I am scheduled to summit Killimanjaro early on the 30th December. Not only am I worried about altitude sickness but because of living and working in a Game reserve, going for training hikes has not been possible. Eek. It's going to be tough!
Thanks for your support and Merry Christmas!
Jules
