I have undertaken to embark on several long distance cycle rides this year. The first is on 04 May and is 60 miles in total.  Whilst improving my fitness I want to raise funds for some very underfunded and little known charities whose work is close to my heart.

The first charity I have chosen to support is Mesothelioma UK.

Mesothelioma is an incurable cancer that is caused by exposure to asbestos.  As you all know I work in the asbestos industry and my husband was an asbestos stripper for almost 20 years.

I hope my family and I never need the services of this wonderful charity but I want to support it as much as I can.
