Story
As many of you know I was diagnosed with breast cancer (an invasive ductal carcinoma) in July. I am fit and healthy with no family history of breast cancer - it was was a huge shock, I was devastated, I was very lucky and I found the lump very early and had the tumour removed 3 days later... Thankfully the cancer had not spread to my lymph nodes.. One thing I knew from the start I was going to try to not let it change my life one bit and carried on as usual and still managed to my running which I love whilst having 6 and half weeks of daily radiotherapy.. (even though my running was a bit slower than usual!)
I've had the most amazing love and strength from Rich, my gorgeous boys who brought normality to it all, my family, my bestest friends ever who supported me through it and can never thank you all enough....
Soooooooo, as you all know I love a little drink or two or three, so this January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I’ll be ditching the drink for one month (god bloody help me) to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Please dig deep and donate now.
thank you very much
Just xx
PS I am happy for random alcohol testing!!!
