Story

On 27th May I will be attempting to get from Richmond Park in London to Brighton Racecourse under my own steam was definitely no buses or cars involved!

I would be absolutely delighted if you could spare a couple of pounds to motivate me to the finish line (100km).

It will be by far the biggest physical challenge that I've ever undertaken and I'm both pretty nervous and excited in equal measures.

I chose Macmillan as my charity to support as I respect and admire them enormously. It takes a special sort of person to be a McMillan nurse. They offer information, support and advise to people dealing with the hardest news they've heard. Patients rely strongly on their McMillan nurses when diagnosed and throughout to be able to talk to someone confidently and openly without having to consider their feelings, something that is hard to do with close family and friends, who are also going through a tough time on the patients diagnosis.

They're an inspiring group of people and they do a hard and necessary job, people with cancer need this support.

I'll be posting regular updates on my 100km journey x
