My name is Kimberly Thompson (Event Manager of K Events) and I am a second year BA Events Management student at the University of Greenwich. As part of my degree I have to put on a charity fundraising event.
On Saturday March 7th, 2015 (performances to start at 2:30pm till 3:30pm), K Events will be holding Dance for a Cure a charity dance show at the Crowborough Community Centre to raise money for Target Ovarian Cancer. All proceeds of the event will be donated to this amazing charity (ticket sales, raffle ticket sales, refreshment sales and donations).
Guests attending will enjoy dances by some of the Caroline Wright School of Dance dancers choreographed by Director Mrs Caroline Burns. The show will last an hour with an interval in the middle for guests to have refreshments. There will also be a raffle prize draw with the chance to win a variety of goodies from local businesses.
Tickets for the event will be sold at £7.00 for adults and £5.00 for children (12 years and under) and seniors. Raffle tickets and Refreshments will be an additional cost on the day.
The event is to raise money for Target Ovarian Cancer (charity number 6619981). Target Ovarian Cancer is the national ovarian cancer charity working to find treatments and cures as well as help women who have been diagnosed, live their lives to the full.
