King of the Road 2018 · 21 July 2018

SpecialEffect enable fun, inclusion, independence and a better quality of life for physically disabled people across the world through the inspirational use of adaptive technology.

Story

This summer a group of Kingsters will be undertaking an epic challenge, cycling 230 miles from London to Paris!

We've got just three days to make it from our office in London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris (via pitstops at our friends at Blizzard in Versailles and Activision in Paris!).

We'll be making ourselves saddle sore for a very good cause - to raise money for SpecialEffect, who enable severely disabled people to use computers and game consoles - using whichever part(s) of their body that work best - by adapting technology to their individual needs.

Take a little look at the difference you'd be helping us to make:-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhIbKX0jSbo

We are all very excited, a tad fearful and somewhat saddlesore from all the training (some of also have gained some very dubious tan lines) ... if you are able to make a donation of whatever you can afford, your support will spur us on and help SpecialEffect continue their amazing work.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
