Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The aim of the Deaf Nepal Expedition 2018 team is to develop friendships with the Nepalese Deaf schools and to offer support by providing resources and materials to improve their quality of life and education. The team is working in partnership with the Pahar Trust Nepal, to fundraise as money as possible for the Nepalese Deaf schools in various ways, such as doing individual challenges, team challenges and events. The team will fly to Nepal for a couple of weeks to visit and volunteer with Deaf schools and Deaf associations in 2018.

The pahar trust has identified a Deaf school/Hostel in an area called Taplejung in the east of Nepal. The school needs vital repairs and refurbishment in the following areas:

- additional fencing

- repair ceiling at Hostel

- repair school building

- warm bedding/blankets

- solar power

- sponsorship of a meal.

I hope you can support this project with your donations and help make a diffence to a child's quality of life and education. Thank you.
