Sentry For a Century 1916-2016

To mark the 100^th anniversary of the battle of the Somme, 1916-2016, and in recognition of todays servicemen and women, on Armed Forces Day weekend. Kabritt Detachment Leicestershire Northamptonshire and Rutland  Army Cadet Force, are holding a charity fundraising event, to raise money for the Royal British Legion Poppy appeal, and the Army benevolent

The fundraising effort centres around the placement of one thousand nine hundred and sixteen 1916 poppies at war memorial and the
lighting of a memorial flame of remembrance. Kabritt  will be raising money for the placement of remembrance poppies in the memorial garden, and then providing a manned sentry for the flame of remembrance for 19 hours and 16 minutes. To mark 1916 anniversary.
