My gran has recently been diagnosed with Cancer and is receiving treatment at The Beatson Cancer Hospital.
In this hospital there is a fabulous, voluntary run Cancer Charity Centre which offers patients massage treatments, beauty therapies, hairdressing and a relaxing environment away from the wards that can also be spent with families and friends. All of this is completely free and relies solely on donations or sponsorship money.
As a way to say thank you for helping my gran and our family at this very difficult time, I am running the Glasgow Great Woman's 10K on Sunday 5th of June 2016 and hoping to raise money which will be donated to this fantastic charity!
