I am joining Muslim Hikers for its first "Winter Trek". This will take place on 25 December 2021 along the famous Great Ridge Walk, starting and finishing in the town of Castleton, and summiting Mam Tor, one of the most iconic mountains in the Peak District at 1,696ft.

This will be a difficult challenge for me as I have some underlying health issues, but I am committed to raising funds to help individuals and families living in Cambridge who require urgent food and fuel support. Shining a light on food poverty often highlights many other complex long-term issues where positive intervention can be made.

Your donations will provide food parcels, store vouchers and small fuel grants (gas/electric top ups) to beneficiaries in some of the most deprived wards in Cambridge. Typically for a family of five, three or less and individual households, the cost would be approximately £60, £30 and £20 respectively with any food voucher at £10-£30.
