London to Brighton Challenge 2015 · 23 May 2015 to 24 May 2015 ·

Autism Guernsey is an independent charity which is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with autism and their families. We seek to share our knowledge and expertise with parents, carers and other professionals in order to support the development of skills and strategies needed to provide the best care and support. We have pioneered a number of services, events and clubs for both adults and children. As a registered Guernsey charity, Autism Guernsey receives no statutory financial backing, and all funds raised go towards work carried out in Guernsey. We provide a range of services, clubs and social groups for adults and children on the spectrum and their families or carers. These range from enabling children to take part in activities that they might otherwise find difficult, a personalised outreach service, to parent support groups, interest groups, youth groups and an advisory service.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. All donations however large or small will be gratefully received in order to reach my target. The reason I want to raise money for Autism Guernsey is because my youngest son, Isaac age 4, has recently been diagnosed with Autism. We have been extremely lucky and grateful with all the help and support we have received and continue to receive.  I now want to give something back to a local charity which is close to my heart. This will, however, be a massive challenge for myself and my sister! Fingers crossed, I hate to fail anything!
