On September18th 2012 PC Nicola Hughes & PC Fiona Bone were killed on duty in Greater Manchester. Nicola's mum said of her daughter
"Nicola always wanted to make a difference and, in doing so, she made
such a big difference to everyone she knew. She cared about everyone and especially her colleagues."
