Story
My lovely big brother James tragically lost his heroic battle against lung cancer on 13th February 2013, at home surrounded by his family. Lynne and I are running the London Marathon in his and our parents memory.
After losing them all to this dreadful disease, we felt this was our way of helping to raise awareness of the importance of preventing children from taking up smoking in the first instance, although not all sufferers of lung cancer smoke. The early diagnosis, campaigning for better outcomes for lung cancer patients and ultimately saving lives.
As Golden bond holders it is crucial that we raise our target amount to enable us to compete in aid of Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, the only charity in the UK solely dedicated to the defeat of Lung Cancer. You'll see our fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help.
