Hello, as many of you know at the end of last year my daughter Izzy was diagnosed with epilepsy after having seizures during her mock GCSE's. At the time it was so scary, it felt crul and unfair just as she was meant to be gaining her independence it was took away, no driving, no being alone.
Fast forward to now, the seizures are medically controlled, she goes to college and life is practically back to normal so now its my turn to give back, and i would appreciate your support, however big or small.
Epilepsy is a common health condition, that too many people know nothing about. Most people see epilepsy as an inconvenience. Flashing lights and falling over. Not an unpredictable and potentially fatal condition.
Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.
Epilepsy says stop. We say go.
