Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will taking part in the Great North Run 2016 in memory of my daughter, Lana, and in support of Tiny Lives; the fantastic charity that looked after her and my family during her short life.
This will be my second GNR supporting Tiny Lives and it something I am immensely proud of and I feel so privileged to take part in. Last year's run was so emotional for me; listening to music that reminds me of Lana and feeling like she was with me all the way. So, to have the chance to do it again really means the world to me!
For those who aren't aware of Tiny Lives, they are a local charity that helps to care for premature and sick newborn babies and their families in the Special Care Baby Unit at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. I cannot express how important their work is. They were there for Gemma and I during our darkest and most heartbreaking hours. Thanks to them we were able to create precious memories of our daughter in the limited time we had. We still cherish these memories to this day. For this reason we 100% support Tiny Lives and always will.
This amazing charity relies totally on donations from the public. So if you have any money you could spare then myself, Gemma and Tiny Lives would really appreciate it!
Much love as always x
