Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Now, I have never really enjoyed the outdoors or walking for these sort of distances, I enjoy staying at home and watching YouTube videos. So I will definitely be out of my comfort zone and this will be a massive challenge for me.

The West Highland Way was Scotland's first long distance route and remains by far the most popular. Stretching for 151 km from Milngavie on the edge of Glasgow to Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis, the route offers a fabulous introduction to the Scottish Highlands.

This will be the first time I will be walking this distance and not gonna lie, I'm kind of petrified.

I have seen people who are quite experienced take up West Highland Way and even they struggled, so for me, a person who does hardly any exercise and knows hardly anything about staying alive in the wild, I will be lucky if I make it out alive.

The whole trip will last 8 days, starting on the 1st June.

The trip will include wild camping, carrying a 10kg backpack with me up many hills, fighting off millions of midges, blisters, and all the other fun stuff. 😄

The money will go towards Viva! as this charity has always been there for me when I had any questions about a vegan lifestyle and basically inspired me to do more for a good cause.
