Story
Yes! It’s that time of the year again where I will be volunteering to be part of the SACA charity event which will be taking place from Saturday 20th July and Sunday 21st July 2013. SACA is a charity organisation that focuses on raising funds for Children’s' charities in order to meet their needs. This is done through organising events such as the Birmingham to London bike ride. WellChild have been selected for this year’s charity as it contributes to supporting vulnerable children who suffer from major illnesses and supports their families financially and morally. The WellChild charity is dependent upon voluntary donation therefore they entirely rely on people like you to support those vulnerable children and their anxious families.
The bike ride will start from Birmingham - Smethwick. It will then proceed through Coventry, Daventry and then through Bedfordshire before reaching a centennial milestone in Luton. After an overnight stay, the ride continues in the morning and passes through St Albans, Radlett, Elstree, and Harrow and then reaches its final destination in London - Southall.
Throughout the event, all volunteer riders are accompanied into the town center surrounded by the local community and support services, all cheering and appreciating the effort that has been put in in order to raise money for the charity. The event comes to an end with a huge parade followed by an after party which includes an open air picnic and entertainment at Southall Park. So come along with family and friends to celebrate the accomplishment of our achievement!
However, in order to accomplish this event… we need your support!! Therefore start donating now generously and make a change for those who need your help. Your donation and any support messages will be recorded on my homepage. Your donation could change a child’s life so start donating now because every penny counts.
