Please help me raise money for The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation supporting the fight to defeat lung cancer.

Mum has recently been diagnosed with the disease and in an attempt to feel I could possibly contribute to defeating it, I am running Reading Half Marathon 2011 on March 20th. . .

The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation are the only charity based in the UK who are wholly dedicated to defeating lung cancer.   

Lung cancer is the most common cancer in the world.  In the UK, around 39,000 new cases are diagnosed each year and it is estimated that, at any one time, there are 65,000 people in the UK living with lung cancer. 

Early detection of lung caner is vital in being able to treat and cure the disease.

This charity funds a programme of research into the early detection of lung cancer as well as future cures.
