Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am attempting the Dublin marathon in October to raise money for Marie Curie . Marie curie are a fabulous charity that  provide care and support to people with any terminal illness, and their families.

Some of you may know we lost my amazing grandfather after a short illness this year. The Marie Curie nurses helped our family immensely, and we can not thank them enough. They were worth their weight in gold with their clinical expertise, kindness and helping maintain dignity in a time of difficulty. Absolute angels!

Through my own profession I have seen how they have supported countless other families too. I cannot stress enough how valuable their work is and they rely on donations to keep the work going.

SO… that’s why I signed up to this hideous challenge. I’m absolutely dreading it (turns out 6 years on it’s a hell of a lot harder) but I hope you can consider donating to keep the momentum going.
