Kate and Rachel Walk for willow

Walk for willow · 8 May 2021
In June 2020 our beautiful daughter started acting differently she went from being a normal just turned one year old
to becoming vacant unresponsive and very sleepy, it would take another 3 months of her getting worse and then starting to have tonic clonic seizures and more hospital trips to get tests done and to get the diagnosis of having epilepsy, willow has the form partial complex focal seizures they doctors don’t know if this is something she will grow out of or it will be something she has to live with forever, she has been truly amazing throughout it all, from having 2 EEG tests, and being put to sleep for a MRI scan she has coped amazingly! Luckily after a couple of different medications she’s now back to a happy alert 1 year old. We can’t thank the nhs enough for all there work they have done for her, the epilepsy research team for being able to give her a normal life with medications. Myself and Rachel have decided we want to raise awareness and money for epilepsy research by doing the burevalley walk which is 9 miles on the 24th of April, we know times are hard but we would be grateful if u could donate anything you can to help us reach our target.
many thanks Kate and Rachel
