Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I was amazed at the generous donations when I did a skydive for Billy's Wish three years ago.
I think people sponsored me, not only because knife crime is a serious problem and there is a massive need for people to understand the causes and implications, but also because people think skydiving is dangerous and scary.
Well let me tell you - all I had to do was be strapped to someone who pushed me out of the plane with him, enjoy the view and wait to land.

A half marathon is 13 miles! I know you know that, but I'm normally pretty sedentary and my knees are shot. Walking 13 miles is much more of an ask for me than falling with style, please encourage me by donating a very small amount xx

I am helping to raise some funds for Billy's Wish, a registered Charity, raising awareness to the dangers of knife crime through our police endorsed education programme, shown in schools in around Dacorum and now further afield - if you'd like to know more and read about Billy's tragic story please visit www.billyswish.org.uk or look them up on Facebook.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Billy's Wish was set up after Billy Dove tragically died in 2011; a victim of knife crime. The team has produced an Anti Knife Crime Education Programme for schools, and works with police and youth groups to educate young people about the dangers of knife crime and promote positive youth activity.
