When you meet someone in your life who inspires you and lifts you up it is like a special gift. Gerry was such a person for me, and I, and many of you guys too, loved her dearly and miss her dreadfully. During her illness we laughed, drank wine, played (remember those trips away and the Sound of Music girls!), partied, talked into the night, ate chocolate ( Geez she could put away the chocolate) cried with her and did everything we could to fight back this heartbreaking disease. She never gave up for a single moment.  Gerry you were amazing throughout .....Ok so I know you will be looking down finding it hilarious watching me trying to run (Ha ha you did give me some stick last time! ) but I'm going to give it my best shot and you'd better be feeling the love girl...So guys, if you can - put your hands in your pockets, dig deep and let's do what we can to get rid of this devastating disease.  I'd be really grateful for your support and some encouraging messages as I'm really going to need them!
