Humanity First Medical provide medical assistance in Disaster Relief and to various ongoing projects worldwide.

One such project is in The Gambia and which I have the pleasure to be involved with. One area of the project that I assist with is teaching and I am lucky enough to hear how this teaching has been used with positive outcomes on resuscitation with Adults and New Born Babies. This has encouraged me to continue this training to further community hospitals throughout The Gambia and to train individuals to be trainers so this teaching can spread to a larger audience. I train 10 people, those 10 people train 10 people which equals 100 people and so on.

To enable this training Resuscitation Manikins, Training Defibrillators and Live defibrillators will need to be provided to each community hospital. This will be an ongoing project as there are many community hospitals in The Gambia.
