Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

During the lockdown I have been thinking about ways to raise some money for Diabetes UK.  It has recently become a charity which is close to my heart.  Those of you who know me, know that I like a challenge!  As I will be 36 this year I wanted to do something to celebrate my 36th birthday.  I could have just decided to swim 36km within the week, tethered in my little pool but that just didn't seem enough!  So, I was thinking about all the equipment I am lucky enough to have at home and decided that I would not only swim 36km in my little pool but I would also run 36km either on the treadmill or my usual run route, cycle 36km  on my turbo trainer and row 36km on my rowing machine.  All of this I will complete during the week commencing the 27th July.  This means averaging just over 5km of each discipline each day for 7 days.

Hopefully by then we won't be in lockdown, but I am planning to do it either way as I don't need to leave home to complete it!
