Katie Nolan is raising money for Leeds Hospitals Charity
In memory of Claire Hallam
Our NHS staff already do an incredible job caring for patients and your support can help them do even more. By donating to Leeds Hospitals Charity, you can fund the things that make a real difference to patients and their families, and help make our hospitals even better.

Story

Claire Hallam was the loving partner of Ed, Mum to Anna (15yrs) and Dexter (12yrs). Daughter of John and Joyce and my sister. She has been taken from us too early at the age of 46 years. She was a true friend and loved by all. We will miss her everyday.

She spoke fondly about the great care she had received at Leeds Hospital, stating she would like to start fundraising for them on her recovery. Plans had already started to form on how she would do that.

She was in and out of Leeds Hospital a year before she passed away and had had 3 major surgeries there. She and her family always believed that a recovery would be made and we are devastated that she has been taken from us when it seemed that the recovery was going well. The care she received at Leeds was exceptional, staff always looking after Claire well, communicating with family kindly and quickly and ensuring that Claire was in the right ward for her needs and treatment.

Claire remained courageous and positive throughout this difficult time. We are so proud of her as a family. We want to honor her memory by supporting the charity that she had already chosen to support.
