Due to COVID-19 we will be unable to hold a regular funeral, but there will be a small ceremony with Katie’s close family. Instead of sending flowers we would prefer people to make donations to AMMF. Katie passed away on May 6th 2020. She had been diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a relatively rare form of cancer, in September 2019. She faced the disease with incredible strength, courage and always on her own terms. She wanted us to raise money for AMMF so that perhaps, with research, people with cholangiocarcinoma may receive a better prognosis or better treatment. Katie would like us to honour her by making sure there is laughter in our hearts and beautiful flowers in our gardens.
