We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

On the 26th December.2019, my mum, Diane Graves, was taken into hospital after suffering a stroke. Sadly, less than 24hrs later she suffered another stroke that she was unable to recover from and she passed away in the early hours of 29th December 2019. Mum was a fit and healthy 78 year old and her passing has been a huge shock to family and freinds alike.

Unfortunately for mum her strokes proved to be fatal but for many others when stroke strikes, part of their brain shuts down. And so does a part of them. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
