Nigeria is a nation with tremendous opportunity to grow talent and be a beacon of hope and light on the African continent. But unfortunately the infant mortality and disgracefully limited opportunity for stepping above poverty line that is open to children in northern part of the country is heartbreaking for me.

Save The Children has been doing tremendous work in that part of the Nigeria and I know they are a credible charity that will increase scope of their engagement if more donations become available.

The governors in the North of Nigeria and the Federal Government do not seem to have the hunger to deal with poverty and poor healthcare of children in this part of the country, so the onus is on all good Nigerians and every living being with the passion for Children to donate and support my charity run at the BUPA Great North Run so that we can raise more money to save more lives and help children secure education that will take them a few steps away from poverty.
