My name is Keari and I am 11 years old. A lady from Rainbows Children's Hospice, called Jenny Ball, visited my school this week and told us about all of the important things that they do there. 

They help children with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, to make memories together. They give lots of love and care to the children they work with, but it costs £6.2 million every year to run the hospice.

I want to be brave and try to help raise some of that money by abseiling from Derby Cathedral, which is over 200 feet tall!!!
