Story
This May, I’ll be walking 100 Miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, a charity that is close to my heart. 💗 You don’t truly understand the impact of something like breast cancer until it touches your life personally. Until you see someone you care about go through it, you can’t fully grasp how much support matters.
In November 2023 my stepmom got diagnosed with breast cancer, a condition that you never expect to learn about or know someone who is suffering with this condition. A truly lovely lady that had been in mine and my sister’s lives since we were 13,11 and 6.
That’s why I’m taking part in this charity walk.
It’s for my stepmum, and for everyone else facing this battle. It’s for the families who are learning, like I did, just how real this is. And it’s to help make sure that no one has to go through it alone.
If you can, please support — every step we take is for them.
In those 31 days, breast cancer will take almost 1000 lives in the UK. They are mothers and daughters, colleagues and friends. Men as well as women. Loved ones. Every pound raised will help support Breast Cancer Now’s life-saving science and life-changing support. So they can continue to tackle the disease, whilst seeing and supporting the people it affects.
