We want everyone to learn first aid to build a nation of first aiders

Story

For some foolish reason I have decided to have a second crack at the London Marathon this year and I am, therefore, currently £2000 in hock to the fantastic St John Ambulance.

I am running for St John Ambulance because, having attended and taken part in so many events at which they have been on hand to help, I feel like I owe them something. Thankfully, I have never had to avail myself of their services, but I know plenty of people who have!

Every year up to 150,000 people die in situations where first aid could have given them a chance to live. Your donation can be the difference between life and death by supporting the amazing volunteers who make our city and our country a safer place to be.

So please do donate whatever you can. I can assure you that I'll be putting in sufficient hours and suffering sufficient chafing to provide full value for money.

Thanks!
