We decided, on a whim, to catch a bus from Derby to Nottingham and then walk back again. It's ok, we are both of sound mind - 'we are blossoming into baddass women with more faith than fear'.... And, it is an organised event - T20 Walkathon, sponsored by HUUB.

On Friday 26 July, we will be catching a bus from The Pattonair County Ground in Derby, travelling to Trent Bridge in Nottingham and at 1030am we trott back following footpaths, cycle tracks and bridleways. We follow the course of the River Trent, passing the Attenborough Nature Reserve, reaching Long Eaton West Park, stretch it out through Breaston, pick up the former Derby & Sandiacre canal towpath, then at Borrowash railway station we leave the towpath to join the riverbank path by the side of the River Derwent which takes us all the way to Bass's Rec in Derby then we're back near Pentagon Island and our cars.

We share these details with you in case we get lost - there is a high possibility we may, and we may have ran out of iPhone battery because we rinsed it on Instagram stories. 

 
However, most importantly, we are raising money for a very important cause. Many of us have experienced seeing people very close to us battle Cancer, we want to contribute to the research that will one day stop it in its tracks.
