Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.   Smile Malawi, who have established an orphanage for 43 children near Blantyre in Malawi  are seeking your help.  The local community urgently need to replace a bridge that was washed away in the floods 2 years ago. Since that time the people of Kapeya have had to make a serious detour to reach the trading centre at Chigamula. In the wet season this is impassable. This  is their "lifeline" for trade and supplies and access to the Maize Mill  next to the orphanage  The local community will be providing the majority of labour to build the bridge so the funds will be used to buy the materials needed.   I do hope you can help. It is hoped that the construction work can be carried out in the 2017 dry season.
