Victim Support is an independent charity. We are dedicated to supporting people affected by crime and traumatic incidents in England and Wales and we put them at the heart of our organisation. We provide specialist help and services to support people to cope and recover.

We are a group of work colleagues that are up for the challenge of walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks in 12 hours.

But while we are having fun and pushing our physical and mental capabilities, we will be doing it for The Carly Fund via Victim Support

We work with in the Criminal Justice System and want to raise awareness and financial support to an organisation that supports the many victims of crime and in our case the victims of Domestic Violence.

'For the Life & Memory of Carly'

The Carly Fund. Has been created in support of Victim Support Counselling Services and to celebrate the memory and life of Carly Fairhurst who was murdered by her boyfriend in 2006.

It  is designed to raise awareness of domestic violence in the Wigan Borough and also to raise funds via charitable events, for the victim support service. The founders of this Fund are Carly's parents, Trevor & Sheila Fairhurst who have both encountered unimaginable stress, pain and despair at the loss of their teenage daughter.

They have also demonstrated tremendous courage and strength in the proceeding years to try to come to terms with their loss and to channel their pain into this worthy cause.

Please support our team by donating to Victim Support, you never know when you may need them.
