I started running in July 16 at a local running club initially to get fit and lose weight, then people kept asking me what run was my goal so that's how I ended up here.  I thought If I'm going to run I need to make it worth it!! I heard about 23 year Hope Stringers journey with Sarcoma Cancer and realised although there are many deserving charities this was one I was not personally aware off and thought there must be lots of other people like me.  I think we all tend to support the ones that we hear and see all the time and forget about others.
