On the 30th June 2017 I am walking the whole 110 mile length of Britain's oldest path,  the Icknield Way. I hope to complete the whole walk in 4 days averaging 25-30 miles a day.

I am raising money for the World Owl Trust, a charity focused on conserving owls both in the UK and around the world. They have had a turbulent last few years and deserve some extra funds to support their work.

The Icknield Way has had associations with my family and myself throughout my life, plus I am fascinated by it history and its link with both my own and our own past.
