Memory Walk 2023
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
Who will you walk for? This year thousands of people will walk for everyone affected by dementia. By taking part in Memory Walk, you will be helping to support everyone living with dementia now and in the future.

Story

My dear Mother suffered from Dementia from the age 64 and sadly passed away after a long cruel battle on the 14th August 2023. My Mother was a very special lady and showed bravery beyond belief. I will miss her so much and I’m sure she will be walking along with us all too on the 30th Sept . I’m walking with my daughter Ruby and maybe my dog Dottie!!  Please donate no matter how small to this amazing charity. Nothing could have helped my Mother but we must live in hope that in the future many can be helped or even cured through research funded by organisations like this. Many thanks…🙏Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time. We owe it to the 900,000 people across the UK currently living with dementia to campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support. By taking part and raising money, or donating to someone who is, you are helping to do this.Once you donate, JustGiving sends your money directly to Alzheimer's Society you dont need to do anything and it's the most efficient way to fundraise. So, who will you walk for? #MemoryWalk
