Keystone Cycle Tour · 21 May 2016

We protect and support children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. We ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives. Our vision is that every child and young person has a safe and happy childhood, and the foundations they need to thrive.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Keystone's JustGiving page.

Keystone Law is a leading law firm, with 190 lawyers located throughout the country. We have recently opened a new regional office serving the South-West in Bristol.

In celebration of that event, and for the hell of it, on the weekend of 21/22 May a team of our lawyers (aka the Keywheelers) will be cycling from our Bristol office at One Temple Quay to our London office, just round the corner from Buckingham Palace.

Along the way we hope to raise at least £1,500 for one of our favourite charities, Action for Children. Although the prevailing wind will hopefully be behind us all the way, the 140-odd miles will pass all the easier with your support. Please, therefore, speed the Keywheelers on their way with a generous donation.

The money raised will help to support homeless children, particularly those that are forced to leave the local authority care system at 16 and end up with nowhere to go, or who run away from abusive families. They end up on the streets; they get exploited; they turn to drugs to forget; they turn to prostitution to pay for the drugs. It's a downward spiral. Action for Children gathers them up, cares for them, helps them, and gives them the support they need to get their lives back on track.
