At the Progressive KickboxSingh Fighting Arts we are organizing an end of year club tournament in conjunction with The Martial Way of Tottenham & Karma Martial Arts of Liverpool to raise money to donate to the Little Haven House Hospice in Benfleet, Essex.
In the memory of a young Lion that passed away earlier in the summer of 2015 from post treatment complications of leukemia we are looking to raise as much money possible to help the Hospice that helped comfort him in his last few weeks and days.
He was only 7 and his journey and his story touched the hearts of all that knew him, his family and their plight to spread awareness of stem cell donation. It is not one that should be forgotten as it raised much awareness within the Asian communities and in general about the importance of bone marrow and stem cell donation.
With his family's permission we are holding the event in his honour and hope we can aid in some way to give comfort to children at the hospice during the time of year when all should be celebrating Love, forgiveness, kindness & compassion to all fellow beings. The compassion, love and strength his family had was amazing and an example to all in such times.
God bless Milan Singh Lall and all the children at the Little Haven House Hospice.
All are welcome to attend the evening, there will be and entrance fee, raffles and Martial Art demonstrations of Tai Chi, Kickboxing, Escrima & Muay Thai as well as children displaying their skills of sparring in a tournament environment. Snacks and soft drinks will be served on the day and we are hoping to find sponsors that can help with any minor costs so that all monies raised on the night and organising the night can go towards the Hospice.
Venue : The Jack Carter Centre, The Drive, Ilford IG1 3PS
Date : 20th December 2015
Time : Doors open at 5.00pm, Event starts at 5.30 pm
All monies raised on the night will be personally handed to the management at the Hospice, hopefully with staff and even some of the children from the hospice in attendance on the night.
