Birmingham Half Marathon

Great Birmingham Half Marathon 2018 · 14 October 2018 ·
I've always enjoyed running, did cross country at school and then did running most weeks at uni to keep fit. But then after uni stopped running and mainly just went to the gym. Would do bits of cardio but not much more than 5/10 mins on a treadmill. Then in June this year my work colleagues decided to sign up for the Birmingham Half Marathon and asked if I wanted to also do it. Decided why not, so started out with a 5k run, then quickly worked up to a 10k. Really enjoying my running now, PB is 11.5 miles and working on doing faster times for try and push for a good time for the race. Running for the charity MIND who support people with mental health problems, believe this is a great cause as good mental health is vital to enjoying life. Mental health problems can affect anyone and can become very serious if untreated. Therefore If you could please donate any amounts to this cause that would be much appreciated :)
Thanks,
Kieran.
