We help make our hospitals even better to improve the lives of our patients

Story

We are part of the therapy team on the Acute Stroke Unit (Ward 24) at Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield.

Treating stroke patients every day we see how difficult it can be for these patients with a range of complex symptoms to adjust after such a life changing event.

Our main aims as physiotherapists are to help restore movement, strength and mobility in our patients and we use a range of equipment to support, aid and assist us in this goal.

We would love to be able to provide the ward with some much needed equipment to help the many patients we see and feel this could make a real difference to their time on our ward.

So we have decided to take on The Isle of Wight Challenge. A 100km hike around the coast.....all in one go. Yep, no sleeping just walking. MUCH further than either of us have ever walked and judging by the training walks we have done so far....it is going to be TOUGH..EEK! So we really would appreciate your support to make our pain worthwhile.
