As we all know, the Pandemic is touching every aspect of our lives and for the charity sector it has had an enormous impact. With your support the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation will be able to continue to respond quickly and enable charities to adapt and continue their valuable support services. It really does make a difference and is a lifeline to many charities. 

The team at Kingfisher House Wealth Management have decided to accept the “My Virtual Mission” Challenge – seeing this as a great opportunity to give back through the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation and we seek your support in our fund- raising efforts.  All funds raised will be matched pound for pound by St. James’s Place Wealth Management.

“My Virtual Mission” is a virtual fitness challenge platform designed to get us moving more and striving towards a fitness goal whilst undertaking a journey to an incredible country. 

Our Mission will run from Monday, 1st March 2021 to Friday, 30^th April 2021. 

During this period Alison and Becky will each be undertaking a virtual 150 mile walk from the base of the snow-capped Andes mountains between Bolivia and Peru to the lost City of Machu Picchu.

 Adam and Marco will each be running 150 miles on a virtual run in Cape Town - one of the world’s most exciting cities.

 That is a grand total of 600 miles combined from the team. 

We are incredibly proud that. since the charity was launched almost 28 years ago, the St. James’s Place community has raised over £100 million for the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation. This amount has been raised through fundraising and corporate matching – supporting charities to make a transformational change to people’s lives, in the UK and abroad.

 The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation supports over 900 charities every year – 2 in 3 of which are small & medium charities. 85% of funds are spent in the UK, 15% overseas – including local issues and charities, as well as national charity partners supporting children and young people, disabilities, hospice and cancer care. In addition, St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation also supports national appeals, where appropriate.

Also if you are a UK taxpayer you are able to add Gift Aid to your donation. This adds an additional 25% more to your donation at no extra cost.
