Kings Community Church in Letchworth is participating in 31 days of fasting with the aim to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust in the month of August. During this time, the congregation will abstain from food for varying periods with the view to raise donations for our chosen charities.

The Teenage Cancer Trust operates 28 specialist units across the country that provide care and treatment for young people aged between 13 and 24 who have been diagnosed with cancer.

The charity is currently only able to offer its vital support to half of these young cancer patients. However, they are in the process of expanding their nursing and support services within the NHS that will enable them to reach every single young person who is affected by cancer. Therefore, Kings Community Church in Letchworth want to assist the Teenage Cancer Trust in reaching their goal to have the funds to provide this invaluable nursing and support care for every young person affected by cancer.
