Story

Those who know me know I DON'T RUN - its not my thing and I'm not good at it but turning 40 does funny things to you so I've decided to set this little target for myself - the Liverpool Half Marathon!!  I'm on week 5 of my training and still very committed so please support me as I try to get round the 13.1 miles and in nearly killing myself help to raise money for Alder Hey Hospital.  This is such a worthy cause - I know of many families whose lives have been touched by the amazing services offered.  Long may the fabulous work continue.

I'm running with 2 girls from work, Coll and Vicky, who are also virgins to running such distances!  Both have children who have needed to use Alder Hey so we are running in the hope of giving something back.

Please give - its easy - JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
