During the COVID Lockdown my hair became very long and I decided I would keep growing it until it was long enough to help someone who had greater need for my hair than me. It is now quite long and is really annoying. It gets knotty after swimming, cycling and running. Mummy is not gentle when brushing my hair and putting it up for school. 'So Daddy could do it', I hear you say.....don't even go there!!!!

Our hair can be our identity, keeping us warm and give us confidence to go to school/ work or just out into the  big wide world to join in with others having fun. 

I am doing this in memory of Kitty and Meredith, wigs belonging to my Mummy's lost friend Harry-The-Hat. 

The Little Princess Trust receives hair donations at their office from people like Orla. The service provided by The Little Princess Trust includes the fitting and styling of a bespoke wig, it costs the charity from £550 to provide a real-hair wig free-of-charge, to a wig recipient. They currently supply over 150 wigs every month. The Little Princess Trust needs financial donations as well as hair donations, in order to fund the actual manufacturing of the wigs and wig-fitting service. Every penny really does help.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever.
