On 5th August 2015 I got the devasting news that I have Invasive Breast Cancer. I was 27 years old at the time and it came as a complete shock.

Since then I've had a lumpectomy, sentinel node biopsy, egg extraction surgery, six sessions of chemotherapy and 20 sessions of radiotherapy. I'm still having Herceptin treatment and hormone treatment. 

I feel very lucky that I have got through the last 12 months as I know many people don't make it to their 'Cancerversary'. With them in mind I really wanted to mark the occasion and start a fundraising page to try to raise some money for Breast Cancer Now. 

So we can help stop people dieing from secondary breast cancer.
