Story

Our dearest Daddy and Mum’s beloved husband, Iain ‘Honi’ MacKinnon, will be laid to rest on Wednesday 12th at a private ceremony. For someone like Dad, we would have expected the church to be bursting at the seams but obviously this can not be the case because of COVID restrictions. We would LOVE to see as many people as possible paying their respects to Dad on Wednesday along Breadalbane Street for about 11.15am. The street has held such importance for Dad over his life - it leads to his croft, he lived in Penalbanach with his parents, he was the sub -Officer at the Fire Station and was the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages at the County Buildings. It was Motor Neurone Disease that took our funny, cheeky, kind, and caring man so we have included a justgiving page for anyone wishing to make a donation to MND Scotland in Dad’s memory, to help others who are having to cope with this awful disease.
